Ananda Mela of Los Angeles is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) charity organization in the greater Los Angeles area of California. Ananda Mela of Los Angeles has been working relentlessly for the last 7 years to foster better understanding of the Bangladeshi diaspora by the local populace. This event is a superior platform for thousands of Bangladeshi Angelinos with family bonding, to see and experience the culture, meet the people, and try a variety of food. Anand Mela Los Angeles has been arranging the Cultural Festival since 2017. We had a 2 year hiatus in 2020 and 2021, but resumed operation in 2022 when we also enlisted as a 501(c)(3) Non Profit. Previously, this event was hosted by Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson, Rep. Judy Chu and many other federal and local officials. In previous years, we have also welcomed and nominated prominent Bangladeshi artists for the “Ananda Mela Award”. Ananda Mela LA is the signature event of Ananda Mela Los Angeles to showcase our culture and heritage to the all the Angelinos. Ananda Mela Los Angeles believes that all the racial differences can be bridged when we exchange each other’s culture, heritage and food. This Festival provides Angelinos a quality musical and cultural performance which is accessible to all Angelinos of all walks of life, free of cost. This event recognizes and acknowledges the beautiful cultural mosaic that this city is built upon.
